Progress Solar Solutions is the exclusive provider locally of Solar Street Lights, USA which offer highly-efficient, long-life induction lighting durable enough for military, government, commercial and industrial applications. These unique solar induction light systems and the majority of its components are made in the USA.

There are two primary models to address different needs

• 1) Free-standing, grid-independent solar lighting, where energy is stored in batteries on the pole, ideal for locations that do not have inexpensive or readily available access to the electric grid
• 2) Smart-Grid solar lights, ideal for urban or suburban locations with currently installed or easy access to the electric grid. Smart Grid solar lights are designed to be “carbon neutral” – they capture energy from the sun during the day, then “feeds” sufficient power back to the electric grid during the day to offset the actual amount needed to power them at night. The energy captured, sent to the grid, and later utilized is monitored by a web-based controller that can control a network of up to 170 lights simultaneously. It also monitors the environmental impact or carbon dioxide reduced by using renewable energy from the sun instead of fossil-fuel based electricity which contributes to global warming.
